New Project - Upon Angel Wings
20 November, 2020
After getting married it is tradition to keep your wedding dress for many reasons. Historically they were made into a christening gown, kept for your daughter to wear or as a memento of that special day. In reality most wedding dresses end up hanging in the wardrobe taking up space or left unloved in a box in the loft … hidden away never to be used again.
Upon Angels Wings transform these wedding dresses into unique angel gowns for babies that are born asleep.
These special gowns are then donated to grieving families within Greater Manchester and beyond, to support them in their time of loss and heartbreak.
New Project - Tale as Old as Time
30 October, 2020
As we look back in history the taboo of losing a baby was very much apparent and not spoken of at all. Shortly after a mother gave birth her baby was taken away. Mothers left the hospital never having spent time holding them or doing the things we do now to help with the emotional trauma women feel during the overwhelming grief of losing a baby.

Welcome to the new Finding Rainbows website
We are proud to announce that Finding Rainbows are looking to work in different areas of Tameside. We will be hosting coffee mornings in different areas of Greater Manchester by linking in with other organisations by hosting them from their buildings. Anthony Seddon and Infinity Initiatives are helping us to achieve our goal to reach out to a further audience.
We will be hosting various different mornings aimed at a plethora of different people from lone parent mornings to family mornings through to parent and child mornings.
We have many new and exciting things to come over the next few months from craft days , day trips out, ladies evenings, nights out, dads groups and many more , which will be available to see via the events page of our website on our Facebook page and group. We also have a Twitter page, which all social media symbols will take you to.
Enjoy the new site and we look forward to seeing you soon.
