Finding Rainbows is a bereavement charity set up by people who understand what you are going through. We offer support in a way that suits you.
Here at Finding Rainbows we offer one to one counselling and group sessions at a time convenient to you. Natalie Cook who is the founder and director of Finding Rainbows has completed her Level 2 in counselling and is currently studying towards her Level 4 Diploma in counselling. She offers face to face support, over the phone, via email and home visits where needed.
Therapy can be a way of exploring issues at a deeper level in a safe environment, where you can feel really listened to and in my experience ‘really hear yourself’.
Anxiety, depression, fears, loss and low self-esteem can all impact on our everyday life and can create
‘walls’ we feel we cannot break down alone. Whatever struggles, big or small, I will provide a safe,
comfortable environment where you can have the space and security to discuss your deepest thoughts
and feelings. A space where you will not feel judged or ashamed but valued and listened to.
I tailor my approach to therapy to ensure it suits an individual’s needs, ensuring I utilise all my skills and experience to meet the client’s best interests. We will review our work during the counselling process to ensure you are moving forward and in the direction you desire.
I have a degree in Primary Education and have been working with children for the last ten years. I am a very caring, nurturing and understanding person. I decided I wanted to use these qualities to help young people and adults in a more focused and profound way. I have completed my Level 2 and Level 3 in counselling and am currently studying my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at Stockport College.
I treat every client I meet as an individual and strongly believe everyone is unique and has the ability
within themselves to make changes in order to live a more fulfilled life. If you want a therapist who can
empathise, understand and listen then rest assured I will walk alongside you through this difficult time.
Finding Rainbows are here to support you, morning noon and night. We are available via telephone, email and our Facebook page. Please use social link at the bottom of the page to be directed to our Facebook.
We hold various coffee mornings throughout the year at different venues throughout Tameside. The coffee mornings are an opportunity and safe plac where you can chat with other bereaved parents either about your loss or for a general chit chat.
We offer services for the bereaved and their extended families, knowing what to say, how to say it can dramatically help.
