EVENT ORGANISERS

What are they looking for?

We are looking for creative and fun personalities, those who will enjoy organising and taking parts in events.

Events will range from Community bag packs to summer fetes and parties. We are always open to new ideas and creative ways of raising funds and awareness.

An awareness of social networking would be an advantage as we promote all our events via Facebook and Twitter etc.

We are looking for both people to organise the events and people to assist at the events so welcome applicants who can commit to a couple of hours a month or more.

We do welcome applications from people with a criminal record as we do not discriminate based on past.

Practical Considerations

All interested applicants will be invited to an initial informal meeting to discuss this role and the work of our group further and then an opportunity will be offered on a trial period.

Upon appointment all volunteers will be provided with ID badges and any items needed to carry out the role.

You will work from our office, but can also undertake some of the duties from home. You will be required to travel to appointments but all out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.

We are really keen to offer training when we can.
